Cookie Policy

This page describes the cookies and browser storage the MacStartup website actually uses. It does not list trackers that are not installed.

Version date: October 15, 2026.

Cookies on these pages

MacStartup does not currently set first-party cookies through its website pages. It also does not uselocalStorage or sessionStorage, and it does not run analytics or advertising scripts. The only site script toggles the mobile navigation menu. It does not write storage. The contact form is a normal HTML form. It does not save a draft in the browser.

Cookies set by this website

There is no consent banner and no table of cookies owned by this website. The site does not run an analytics or advertising tag that would call for a banner.

Browser storage

The website does not use localStorage, sessionStorage, or IndexedDB. Closing the mobile menu does not persist a preference.

Fonts and third-party requests

Every page loads the Manrope typeface from Google Fonts. The browser requests styles fromfonts.googleapis.com and font files from fonts.gstatic.com. That is a connection to Google, not a MacStartup cookie. Google may process IP address and other connection data under its own rules. MacStartup does not control whether Google’s servers set cookies on Google domains.

Google’s description of its privacy practices is onGoogle’s Privacy Policy. If the font request is blocked, the site falls back to a system sans-serif listed in the stylesheet.

Server logs and hosting

Cookies are not the same thing as server logs. The host that serves the site can record IP address, user agent, time, and the URL that was requested, including /request.php when the form is submitted. Those logs are a hosting function. This website does not turn them off, and it does not claim that a host keeps no logs.

A specific hosting company is not named. That company’s own policy applies to its logs.

Analytics and advertising

No analytics scripts are installed. No advertising cookies or marketing pixels are installed. If that changes, this policy and the Privacy Policy will be updated first.

How to control cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies will not remove a MacStartup cookie, because the site does not set one. Blocking third-party requests can stop the Google Fonts files from loading. The pages remain usable with the fallback font.

Changes

This policy will be revised if the site starts storing cookies, using browser storage, or adding a measurement tool. The version date will change with the text. The current version date is October 15, 2026.
